Previous excursions have shone the spotlight on Pharrell/ The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, DJ Premier, RZA and Kanye West. Now, Timbaland is the latest super-producer to feature in the ongoing Beatmasters series of mixes put together by Mark Devlin.
.The latest volume features the distinctive beat patterns and rhythms of Timbo on tracks by artists like Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Jay-Z, The Game, Bubba Sparxx, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott (obviously,) the much-forgotten Ms. Jade, and Timbaland himself in combination with Magoo. To paraphrase Film 4, expect great beats you know, and great beats you don’t.
